1999
An inexperienced team still making the parts fit, sharp one night and lost the next, and under .500 because of poor shooting. Alex Nunez, a 6-1 senior guard who had been a spare part the year before, had become the leading scorer, off the dribble or from three; 6-1 sophomore guard Derek Linkous and 6-8 junior center Adam Morgan were the others. Francis Marion was a tough draw. Dale Burns was in his 21st year. 4-7 coming in.
