ABOUT THE VIKINGS

Last year’s Northeast Tennessee Coach of the Year, Michael McMeans, returns several key players from a Viking team that qualified for sub-state play last season. Senior Colin Brown, an all-state selection and the Northeast Tennessee Player of the Year as a junior, will lead the way for THS, averaging 23 points a game. Also returning for the Vikings are all-region players Reed Miller (12 points, 9 rebounds a game) and Zander Phillips (10 points, 6 rebounds).
