ABOUT THE ORANGE WAVE
Coach Lawrence Pollard’s Orange Wave is coming off an incredible 30-2 record, which saw them finish as the NYPL runner-up in the state championship contest, while they did earn the PSAL Boys’ Brooklyn Borough Championship. Playing in The Classic for the first time, the Orange Wave will look to claim the crown behind the play of PSAL Player of the Year Jahda Swann, a 6-5 senior, who averaged 26 points per game as a junior, along with 12 rebounds and four blocks each game. The 4-star athlete, who was named the New York City Player of the Year, has received numerous offers, including those from UConn, Kansas, Providence, Mississippi State, and others.
