ABOUT THE VIKINGS
Coach Duane Lewis has led the Vikings to four state championships, including the last two years, and returns a wealth of talent from last year’s team. Leading the way for North Meck, is Ashton Pierce, a 6-3 senior shooting guard who averaged 15 ppg last season and is a 4-Star Athlete. He has received offers from Mississippi State, Wake Forest, and a host of other schools, and is one of the top recruits in North Carolina. The Vikings will also count on 6-4 senior Exzavier Young (11 points, nine rebounds), one of North Carolina’s leading rebounders the past two seasons.
