ABOUT THE RAIDERS
Coach Julius Sandi’s Raiders are the defending 6A Florida state champions and return four of their top six players from last year’s 30-2 team. The 2024-2025 season was a historic one for St. Thomas Aquinas – the team’s 30 wins were the most ever in a single season, and the Raiders finished ranked No. 18 in the country by MaxPreps. Ranked 11th in the country by MaxPreps in the pre-season, the Raiders will be led by 6-1 junior Clarence Westbrook, who averaged 17 ppg as a sophomore. Drake “DJ” Sandi, averaged 10 points and 7.5 assists per outing last year and is ranked among the top three players in Florida by MaxPreps. Sandi’s younger brother, Kellson, averaged 12 ppg, and in pre-season rankings, he was ranked 11th by MaxPreps in Florida and 18th nationally.
