ABOUT THE PANTHERS
The nine-time state champion Panthers and Coach Andre Nobel, for whom the school’s gym is named, are coming off a standout season that included yet another Pennsylvania 5-A state title and a top-5 ranking in the country. This year’s club will be led by Ahmad Nowell, a four-star recruit ranked 30th in the class by 247Sports and 33rd by ESPN, who has committed to Connecticut after briefly considering Tennessee. He averaged 13.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists a game last spring and summer.
