1989
After the worst record in school history, 5-22 in 1988-89, John McCrary's Golden Raiders had already passed that win total. Junior forward Jeff Marshall (6-6), one of the Big 10's best big men, averaged 19.9 points with a good touch from 15 feet; junior Brian Boggs (6-6) scored 12.1 and senior Robbie McClellan (6-4) added size inside. Guards Scott Waye (6-0, sr.), Clay Minton (5-8, jr.) and Brian Hagood (6-0, jr.) supplied the outside shooting. Quickness was the question. 6-1 coming in.
