One of Northeast Tennessee's most experienced teams, with four starters back and only a loss to Sullivan South. Junior guard William Miller (15 ppg), on the all-tournament team the year before and drawing Division I attention, ran it with 6-2 senior guard Dimingo Hale (18) and 6-2 junior forward Jesse McMillian (13). Cary Daniels, in his fourth year, expected to reach the Class AAA tournament in Murfreesboro. 9-1 coming in.
