A year after the worst season in school history, Dobyns-Bennett bounced back quicker than expected under new coach Cary Daniels, who had taken his previous team in Knoxville to the state tournament. Six-foot senior Rashad Wolfe led the Indians in scoring nearly every game, at 20.5 points, with 5-9 junior guard Michael Farthing (10.8) and 6-5 junior Kevin Robinson (10.5) also in double figures. The points were there; Daniels wanted more effort on defense. 6-3 coming in.
