Built for February, with one of Northeast Tennessee's most promising pairs: 6-6 sophomore center Vince Redd, close to becoming one of the area's dominant big men if he stayed out of foul trouble, and 5-11 sophomore guard Walter Brown, with 6-1 senior guard Andy Curtis. Tony Hardin's Cyclones drew an extremely tall Sabonis Kaunas in the play-in round. 5-5 coming in.
