Veteran coach Bobby Snyder came in with 618 career wins and a team set to add plenty more. The Trailblazers had the Big 10's most potent perimeter game: sharpshooting point guard Keilan Livingston (5-10, 18.6 ppg) and Jamie Jones (5-11, 14.7), a transfer from Science Hill's state championship team, with Eddie Rutledge (5-10, 9 ppg) also outside and sophomore David Garland (6-3, 10.8) and junior Zack Parham (6-5, 6.6) inside. Travis Mains, Mickey Freeman and Kevin Vannoy came off the bench. 8-2 coming in.
