A Class AAA final four team the year before, beaten there by Brainerd, and ten deep. John Henderson, 6-7 and 270 pounds, the state's Class 4A Mr. Football and bound for Tennessee, made his season debut after sitting out eight games with a strained knee; 6-3 swingman Booker Warren (13 ppg) was emerging as a big-time prospect, and 5-10 guard Andre Stallings (12) could knock down the open shot.
