John Marshall High School

Runners-up to Whites Creek in the previous year's final, Frank Threatts Jr.'s Justices brought 6-5 senior Jason Williford, signed with Virginia, and fellow returning starter David Holly (6-5 senior). Sophomore Ralph Wyatt (6-7) played inside in the absence of Kevin Ross for academic reasons, and a new backcourt of senior Jermaine O'Neill (6-2) and sophomore Edmund Sherrod Jr. (6-3) replaced two guards now at Virginia State. Already past three tough opponents, John Marshall expected to be ranked first in the Richmond area. 3-0 coming in.
