Miami Senior High School

Ranked 16th by USA Today and fresh from the City of Palms title, Frank Martin's second team was the clear favorite, big and athletic across the front: 6-9 senior Brindley Wright, signed with Florida, 6-8 senior Andre Ferbee, 6-8 junior center Udonis Haslem, 6-8 senior Robert Peterkin and 6-9 junior Sylbrin Robinson, one of the country's top juniors though not a starter. Martin, a Miami Senior graduate, had succeeded Shaky Rodriguez. The one loss came at Oak Hills of Cincinnati after a long bus ride. 13-1 coming in.
