Steve Milam's Trainers wore opponents down by playing 10 or 11 players a game. They had won the District of Columbia championship in his first season, and back from that team were swing man Nathaniel Burton, one of their best scorers, and point guard Jermaine Douglas. Myron Brown was a versatile 6-4 sophomore and Marquette Thomas a 6-3 shot blocker. 5-3 coming in.
