The Patriots are led by Mississippi coaching legend Richard Duease, who is the winningest boys’ coach in the state with 1,177 career victories and 1,767 wins overall (including girl’s hoops). Duease has compiled 15 state championships (13 boys, 2 girls) during a 47-year career. This year the Patriots will count heavily on Ole Miss commit Josh Hubbard, who averaged 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists a game as a junior. Harrison Alexander’s 15 points, 4 boards, and 4 assists a game gives the Pats a great 1-2 scoring punch.
