From Los Angeles, the alma mater of Keyshawn Johnson, fifth in the city the season before and perhaps the quickest team in the field, though it had not fared well at the King of the Bluegrass. 6-8 Gary Hamilton and 6-10 Curtis Battle made a frontcourt to wreak havoc, with 6-2 DeAndrae Alexander. A. Kevin Gibson coached the Dons. 5-4 coming in.
