ABOUT THE CAVALIERS 

The tradition-rich Cavaliers were the class of South Carolina hoops a year ago, capturing the 5-A state title and finishing as the Beach Ball Classic runner-up. Coach Thomas Ryan will put another solid team on the floor, paced by Christian Andrews, named a pre-season Top 5 Senior for 5-A in South Carolina. Andrews scored a dozen ppg a year ago and had five assists an outing. Keenan Arcega-Whiteside, notched 10 points a game as a sophomore and grabbed 4 rebounds, while Christian Gentry averaged 8 ppg last season.
