Fresh from winning the City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers from a fifth seed, beating top-seeded St. Patrick (N.J.) and Episcopal Academy (Pa.) 74-68 in the final, where Brandan Wright scored 31. Wright, a 6-9 senior signed with North Carolina, was among the most versatile big men the tournament had seen, and Joshua Bone ran the point. George Pitts, three times an Arby's winner at Science Hill, brought them in at 9-1.
