- Bernard Saulsberry
Always among Georgia's best, and Class AAAA state champions as recently as 1981. The lone senior, 6-3½ guard Bernard Saulsberry, was a big-time recruit; James Lunsford named 6-5 junior forward Harold Thompkins his next best player. Milledgeville was the original site of the B/C summer basketball camp. 5-1 coming in.
