ABOUT THE BEARCATS

Coach Julius Gallishaw, the Region 2D Coach of the Year for the last two seasons, led the Bearcats to their first appearance in the state finals in 64 years last season. Returning from that state runner-up club are Deonta Mozell and Landon Lee, both named to the first-team all-district and all-region teams. Mozell, a second-team all-state selection, averaged 17 points and four assists as a junior, while Lee, averaged 10 points and eight boards a game Teron Woolen (11 ppg) also returns to lead the ‘Cats.
