ABOUT THE GOLDEN TIGERS 

Orem head Coach Jace Tavita returns plenty of experience from Utah’s Region 7 champions as the Golden Tigers, who return five players who averaged in double digits, look to move further into state play this season. All-state selection Jax Allen (14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds a game), who has received offers from Utah and Hawaii, will lead the way for Orem. A trio of all-region selections, Chamberlain Burgess (12.2 points, 8.5 rebounds a game), Trey Hiatt (11 points), Chance Dastrup (9.4 points, 9.3 assists), along with Simeon Suguturga (12.4 points, 7.4 rebounds) and Ryker Mikkleson (11 points, 6 rebounds) will provide the Tigers with plenty of power on both ends of the court.
