ABOUT THE BEARS

Coach Dylan Estock the Miami-Dade Coach of the Year in 2023, led the Bears to the Florida 4A State Championship during his first season with the team. This year’s club will be led by Braylon Burbridge, who scored 16 ppg as a junior, to go along with four steals and three assists a game. Brown, Columbia, Stetson, and Wooster are recruiting him. Christian Reid, who has committed to Southern Miss, was first-team all-state as a junior and averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists a game. Point guard Anthony Knowles returns to run the floor with 13 points and 6 assists a game, while Clarence Burts averaged 11 points and led the team in 3-pointers last season.
