ABOUT THE MAROONS 

The Maroons, a Virginia 1A state quarterfinal club a year ago, are led by Coach Tony Dunford, the Region 1C Coach of the Year. Second-team all-state selection Reed Kirtner will lead the way for the Maroons this year, averaging 17.4 ppg last season. David Goode brings 13.7 ppg to the starting five, while Shane Huff (6.5 ppg) and Bray Rainey (7.1 ppg., 4.4 rpg.) will make GW a solid offensive threat.
