ABOUT THE EAGLES 

The Eagles, coached by three-time Florida Coach of the Year Cilk McSweeney, are looking at another successful season after winning back-to-back FHSAA 4A titles in 2021 and 2022 when they were also crowned national champs. They are led by Shon Abaev, a Top 40 recruit who is being courted by a slew of schools, including Syracuse, USC, Arkansas, Auburn, Dayton, and Cincinnati. Avaev, an excellent ballhandler, averaged 18.1 ppg last season. Cayden Daughtry, only a sophomore, has also drawn great interest from various colleges, including West Virginia, Arizona State, Florida State, and Mississippi State.
